If you're a fan of the Montreal Canadiens the last thing you ever want to hear is that star goaltender Carey Price is injured.
On Wednesday Habs insider Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reported that Price is currently battling through an "upper-body injury" although he did not go into detail regarding the specific nature of that injury.
Lavoie did state that the injury is not believed to be anything major, and that Price himself believes that he may be in net for Montreal's upcoming game against the Carolina Hurricanes. Lavoie did add however that the possibility of Price being kept out of the game for precautionary measures was still on the table.
The Canadiens face the Ottawa Senators on Saturday, and should Price miss the game against the Hurricanes, Lavoie believes he will play this week-end.
