Breaking: Haula gets stretchered off the ice after suffering gruesome injury!

Yeah, this looks like a total ACL destruction.

The Toronto Maple Leafs and the Vegas Golden Knights faced one another on Tuesday and while the game was exciting, the attention was all over left winger Erik Haula’s gruesome injury, which took place at the start of the third period.

The hit took place on a pretty standard play: Leafs’ Patrick Marleau hit Haula as he was dumping the puck in from the red line.

As you can see in the clips here below, Haula’s right leg bends in all the wrong ways and the poor guy spat his mouthpiece to scream in pain as he hit the ice.

His right knee buckled underneath him and he immediately grabbed it in pain. He was then stretchered off the ice as received a warm ovation from the Toronto crowd who felt the pain for him…

The injury is tough to watch…
