Breaking: Larsson out with injury

It was announced earlier that Adam Larsson would not take part in tonight's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs after partaking in the warmup skate.

The reason for his absence tonight has finally been revealed during the first intermission.

It's unclear when the injury occurred, and what exactly he's dealing with. "Upper body" injury is often a concussion, but we won't speculate for now. His absence is undetermined as of now - expect Todd McLellan to provide an update following the match.

Eric Gryba took over Larsson's spot, and did not fare well through the first period, but the same could be said for the whole team.

They find themselves down 3-1 after one.
