BREAKING: Late night trade in the NHL!

There's been some late night action in the NHL as the Vancouver Canucks traded away young defenseman Jordan Subban to the Los Angeles Kings in return of forward Nic Dowd.

Subban, younger brother of PK, is 22 years old and has 5 assists in 16 games so far this season in the AHL.

Dowd, a 27 year old center, has 1 assist in 16 games with the Kings in the NHL.

This comes after the Canucks learned that young center Bo Horvat will miss up to 6 weeks with a fractured ankle. [pub]
