Erik Karlsson, the superstar defenseman for the Ottawa Senators, has been sidelined since the beginning of training camp while he recovered from off season surgery.
Well guess what? He's back.
The red jersey signifies that he has been cleared for contact - and it was made obvious that once he got that clearance, his return would be swift.
With Thomas Chabot being returned to the AHL, it seems inevitable that Karlsson is back.
The Senators have been excellent through 5 games, going 3-0-2 with a +10 goal differential.
Having their best player back makes for a scary thought, if you're not a Sens fan.
