Breaking: Major update on McDavid contract negotiations.

A Hockey Hall of Famer has just provided an update on the Connor McDavid contract negotiations. 

According to a report from Terry Jones, the Edmonton Oilers are expected to make a major announcement tomorrow with a press conference schedule for Wednesday. 

Jones reports that the press conference is expected to be the announcement of McdDavid's new contract with the Oilers, a deal that would presumably make him the highest paid player in the NHL.

While there has never been any doubt that the Oilers would get this deal done, this is announcement will be extremely well received by the Oilers fan base.
