The Nashville Predators have found a replacement to former assistant coach Phil Housley. His name? Dan Muse

Housley left the Preds' in June 2017 to become the new head coach of the Buffalo Sabres

Muse, 35, won the Clark Cup as a head coach with the Chicago Steel in the USHL this past season. Prior to this, he was an assistant coach at Yale University from 2009 to 2013 and became the team's head coach from 2013-15.

"Dan is an up-and-coming coach that has proven to be a winner at multiple levels," said Preds GM David Poile.

"[He] comes to us as a successful young coach that brings great energy and passion to the game,[..] we are excited to welcome him to the organization and look forward to his contributions to the coaching staff."

The Preds made it to the Stanley Cups Final last season and will be looking to win their first Stanley Cup ever in 2018.
