Breaking: NHL superstar may have re-injured himself.

It's unclear right now but it appears that Ottawa Senators superstar Erik Karlsson may have once again hurt himself.

Karlsson came out with his team for their third period against the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday night, but it wasn't long before Karlsson appears to fall awkwardly, causing what is currently ailing him.

He would then head to the dressing room to be examined by team staff, but he quickly returned to the bench and everything seemed to be alright. However since returning to the bench Karlsson has not stepped out onto the ice, and in fact he seated himself once again after initially getting up to hit the ice.

Murray Pam of the The Hockey News is also reporting that Karlsson took some time to skate during the timeout but has remained on the bench since then.
