Breaking: Official update on Matthews’ status for tonight’s game

It looks like Toronto Maple Leafs forward Auston Matthews will be in the lineup to face the Montreal Canadiens tonight.

Matthews has missed the past four games with an undisclosed upper body injury, and though the Leafs have won all four contests, they will be glad to count on the star forward.

Meanwhile the Canadiens are 4-2-1 without their star netminder Carey Price.

Frederik Andersen will be in net for Toronto while Charlie Lindgren will make his seventh consecutive start in goal for Montreal.
