Breaking : Pens sign 3 huge defenseman, one centerman.

The UFA market was pretty hectic today and huge deals were inked. Close to home, Justin Schultz signed a 3 years deal only minutes ago and will secure a good part of the defense squad for years to come. However, a team is certainly not built on one player only and some depth had to be created with other signature. 

We just learned GM Rutherford signed 4 new players today. 

Tinordi is a 25 years old former 1st round pick of the Montreal Canadiens. At 6'6'', 230 lbs, he's an imposing presence on the ice but sometimes lacks in defensive awareness. He has improved his vision in the recent years and can bring some toughness to a lineup. 

Summers is a 6'2'', 209 lbs 29 years old former first round defenseman who has played for the Coyotes and the Rangers in previous seasons. He played 70 games in the NHL so far and earned 9 points along the way. He's played a lot of years in the AHL and he will offer some security in case of injuries. 

Zach Trotman is a 6'3'', 219 lbs defenseman who's played 67 games in the NHL. The 26 years old has earned 22 points along the way and was showing progress in the Bruins system. 

Greg McKegg is a 25 years old centerman. Through his 65 games in the NHL, he earned 9 points. He was a member of the Maple Leafs before moving to the Panthers and most recently the Lightning.
