Well this is certainly interesting.

In a recent interview right winger Pierre-Alexandre Parenteau revealed that he wasn't very happy with the decision by the Islanders to sign and then waive him this summer, and he did so in a very unique way.

Parenteau explained to Devils broadcaster Sherry Ross that he was going to need to buy his kids some new Devils gear after being claimed by New Jersey on the waiver wire, explaining at the same time what happened with the stuff he had just bought for them.

"I just bought some Long Island jerseys. I threw them in the garbage."

There is no doubt that this was intended to be an insult at his former team, and there's also very little doubt that he will be the most hated man on the ice in New York when the Devils come to town should the Islanders' fan base catch wind of this.
