BREAKING : Staal runs into the board head first, possibly out for the season.

Today's game between the Wild and the Blues is a true must-win for the Minnesota crew. They need this win to stay alive and push the series further after being overwhelmed by St-Louis. 

You can expect intense games in these conditions and today is no different. However, a very dangerous sequence just happened when Eric Staal was accidentally tripped after a slick play in front of the net. He had a lot of speed and couldn't stop himself before ramming the board head first.

After laying on the ice for close to 5 minutes, he was helped off the ice by two guys. He looked at least concussed, if not worst.
