Breaking : Stan Bowman opens up about his trade deadline strategy!

You've probably already noticed, but it's the time of the year where you guys hear all types of rumors regarding each and every team in the hunt for almost any  players in the league. It's also that time where, as a fan, we have to take those rumors with a grain of salt but some insider are connected enough to the NHL to deliver a true insight on what's going on around the league.

Mark Lazerus met with Stan Bowman regarding what was his strategy as we get closer to the trade deadline and few big names like Patrick Sharp and Matt Duchene are associated to the Chicago Blackhawks.

"I’m not expecting to make a deal this year, unlike previous years." said Bowman. "I've said this from the beginning of the year, and I mean it: We have a different dynamic this year because we have a lot more young players that have been with our team this year from the beginning,"

Again, you should take this with a gain of salt. This isn't without remembering Montreal Canadiens' GM and owner Geoff Molson making public statement that they would never trade PK Subban and look what happened.
