Breaking: Two NHLers on waivers, including Sabres’ Wilson

The Buffalo Sabres have placed 26 year old forward Scott Wilson on waivers.

The Sabres have waived Scott Wilson so if he clears, he'll likely stay in Rochester for a while. My GUESS is they're pretty sure he won't be claimed, but that's only a guess.

The 26 year old forward has yet to play this season after breaking his ankle just days before the 2018-19 season started. Wilson was acquired from the Detroit Red Wings last December and put up six goals and 14 point sin 49 games with the Sabres last season, after going pointless in 17 games with the Red Wings. Prior to that, Wilson played three seasons with the Pittsburgh Penguins, winning back to back Stanley Cups championships in 2016 and 2017.

The Nashville Predators have also placed goaltender Miroslav Svoboda on waivers for the purposes of terminating his contract.
