Despite unfortunate news that forward Zach Parise underwent surgery this morning and will miss close to two months of action, the Minnesota Wild is excited to announce that star forward Mikael Granlund will be back in the lineup tonight, to face the Vancouver Canucks

Grandlund, who  has been out since aggravating a groin injury in the Oct. 5 season opener against the Detroit Red Wings, has missed five games in total.

Coach Bruce Boudreau is delighted to have his 'best player' back on the ice.

After starting the season with five of six games on the road, the Wild are about to start their longest homestand of the season with their next six games at the Xcel Energy Center, and fans will be happy to see Granlund in uniform.
