The Minnesota Wild have claimed defenseman Nate Prosser off of waivers from the St. Louis Blues.
The long-time Wild blue liner signed with the Blues this past offseason but has managed to only play one game for his new, now old, club. The Elk River, MN returns to the the franchise where he has played eight seasons and 282 NHL games.
The 31-year-old will likely suit up as a seventh D in Minnesota and play a shutdown role when required. He’s a solid option on the PK, as well.
Welcome home, Nate!
