A young goaltender appears to have been injured.

The Pittsburgh Penguins appear to have suffered yet another injury in goal this season, this time with 22-year-old backup goaltender Tristan Jarry going down to an apparent injury against the Philadelphia Flyers.

Jarry left the game and headed for the locker room and thus far has not returned to the game, starting goaltender Matt Murray has stepped in to take over in the youngsters absence.

The Penguins were reportedly already looking for a veteran goalie to use as a backup, a move they hoped to make so they could maximize Jarry's playing time in the American Hockey League, and this will likely kick that search into overdrive.

A very bad break for a Penguins team that is struggling to fight for a playoff spot.
