The Hurricanes, wearing vintage Whalers uniforms, squandered a two goal lead to the Bruins and ended up losing the game 4-3 in overtime. Prior to OT though, Bruins announcer Jack Edwards absolutely went OFF on former Bruins blueliner Dougie Hamilton for wearing #19, a number retired by the Whaler organization in honor of Johnny "Pie" McKenzie.
