Corey Perry taunts the Maple Leafs during warm ups for Game 7.

Perry sends a message.

It's all about the mind games when it comes to big moments in the Stanley Cup playoffs and few are as experienced as veteran Tampa Bay Lightning forward  Corey Perry when it comes to that side of the game.

Perry, who came up huge against the Maple Leafs during Game 7 last year when he scored a goal as a member of the Montreal Canadiens that helped send the Leafs home with an early first round exit, was up to his old tricks again on Saturday night, this time before the game even officially got under way.

It was just a small thing but Perry went out of his way to fire a puck off at the end of warm ups, fired it directly into the Maple Leafs' net of course. Perry was sending a clear message here to the Maple Leafs and I would be shocked if the players in the Toronto locker room failed to take notice of the gesture.

The only question now is how will they react?
