Dallas makes a lot of sense as a destination.

The Edmonton Oilers had their most successful season in a long time but that doesn't mean they won't be looking to make some changes this summer.

Edmonton Oilers insider Jim Matheson of the Edmonton Journal touched on the possibility of the Oilers trading winger Jordan Eberle this summer, and he even had a "prime destination" in mind.

Matheson believes that with the trade of veteran Patrick Eaves as well as the pending free agency of both Patrick Sharp and Ales Hemsky, the Dallas Stars would be a great fit for an Eberle trade. The question of course becomes what would they give back?

Matheson could see a player like Cody Eakins, a center, coming back the other way as part of this deal between the Stars and Oilers. While Eakin is coming off a tough season, there are many who believe he can still be a solid number two type of center in the National Hockey League.

Would you make this deal if you're the Oilers? Would you make it if you're the Stars? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
