Daniel Alfredsson is now immortal!

Daniel Alfredsson played 17 seasons for the Ottawa Senators in which he scored 426 goals and added 682 for 1108 points. Named captain during the 1998-1999 season, Alfie was the leader of the Ottawa Senators until he left for the Detroit Red Wings in 2013. 

In 17 seasons under Alfredsson captaincy, Ottawa missed the playoffs only twice and even reached the Stanley Cup Finals in 2006-2007.

He signed a one-day contract on December 4, 2014 to retire as a member of the Ottawa Senators and is now a part of the upper-management team.
