A 22-year-old collegiate defenseman is reportedly drawing interest from across the National Hockey League with his extremely physical play.

Josh Healey is being described as a throw-back blue liner, the kind that punishes you in the open ice for having your head down, and that has a large number on NHL teams interested in his services.

"[Healey] will get a contract. There's lots of interest in him," said one NHL executive as per TSN.

Some might think that the fact Healey was suspended yet again today could be signs of a problem, but it appears that those at the NHL level feel his game is just too physical for the college scene.

"Hits too hard for college hockey," another NHL scout said. "His game will be better suited to pro."

This one young man who could be having a big impact in the NHL as early as next season.
