With their backs up against the wall and facing playoff elimination in their game 6 matchup against the Edmonton Oilers, the San Jose Sharks are making some adjustments for tonight’s game.

Kevin Kurz, San Jose Sharks insider for NBC Sports California, reported this morning that head coach Peter DeBoer will opt to go with forward Jonas Donskoi in his team’s lineup over Timo Meier.

For Donskoi, the move represents a return to the lineup that he was part of for the series’ first four games, before sitting for game five. While the 25 year-old Finn was a big part of his team’s run to the 2015-16 Stanley Cup final with 12 points in 24 games played, he’s been remarkably quiet this postseason. With just a single assist in four games, he’ll need to step up his game if the Sharks are to tie the series and force a game 7 back in Edmonton.
