EA Sports NHL 22 adds World Juniors and IIHF World Championships

This just in, EA Sports has announced a load of new features for popular hockey game NHL 22 including full IIHF World Juniors roster and IIHF Women's and Men's Championships in January, 2022.

I'm not much of a gamer these days, but I do know that fans have been rallying against EA to make significant improvements to the NHL franchise for years. It seems that EA is content to trot out the same game year after year with only updated rosters. Again, I'm no expert but from what I've seen fans seem happy with today's development.
I have just one question though... does Canada just automatically get the gold medal at the start of the tournament or do you actually have to play the games? I kid, I kid... don't come at me, American fans.

Announcing the EA SPORTS™ NHL 22 International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) Partnership and limited-time IIHF in-game content drop! Hockey is a global experience that extends beyond North America, and players can now play their favourite sport with an even bigger pool of teams that from all over the world. Plus, all NHL 22 players can get free IIHF content in Hockey Ultimate Team and World of Chel until January 10th.
Starting December 9, 2021, IIHF Men’s and World Juniors teams will be added to NHL 22 in a variety of ways. Federations, logos, and uniforms will be available in Ultimate Team and World of Chel, and Play Now rosters will be updated to the latest official teams as they are announced.
