Evgeni Malkin and Nazem Kadri butt heads on social media.
Malkin and Kadri don't see eye to eye.
The National Hockey League tried to stir up a little drama this week and it seems to have worked, including on the players themselves.
This week the league threw out a question to their fans through their social media platforms, asking those same fans to make a choice between one of two players. The players in question were recently signed Calgary Flames forward Nazem Kadri and long time Pittsburgh Penguins veteran forward Evgeni Malkin, both of whom are centermen. The NHL simply asked their fans, which of the two players you would prefer to have as your center, which of course in turn led to a number of colorful responses.
Here's a look at the question from the NHL:
As I mentioned already, this particular question would catch the attention of the players themselves and that would include the two players involved in Kadri and Malkin. Both men took to their own social media platforms to respond to the question put forward by the NHL, with both men unsurprisingly throwing in a vote for themselves.
For what it's worth, Malkin did seem to get a lot more agreement from the other users who also viewed the post which would appear to indicate that most fans online were siding with him.
