Something will occur on Saturday that has never happened before in professional hockey.

With the announcement that Los Angeles Kings' goaltender Jeff Zatkoff will not suit up against the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday night, the Kings will look to their farm team to fill a voided position. Zatkoff suffered a groin injury during the team's morning skate, and the team will have to call up the starting goaltender Jack Campbell of the Ontario Reign.

This will put the Reign in an unexpected situation. With Campbell set to back up Kings' starter Peter Budaj, the Reign will start backup goaltender Jonah Imoo on Saturday against the San Jose Barracuda.

However, the Reign find themselves without a backup goaltender as a result. Or so they thought.

As it turns out, Reign goalie coach Dusty Imoo, Jonah's father, will be backing up his son for tonight's game.

"This could set some kind of hockey history," Reign head coach Mike Stothers said, according to Reign reporter Lindsay Czarnecki.

The start will be Imoo's first in the AHL, and his father will have the best seat in the house.
