Five times that Brad Marchand got absolutely destroyed

Love him or hate him, Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand is guaranteed to get a reaction. Whether he’s scoring goals, throwing hits or… licking (yuck) his opponents, Marchand is a force to be reckoned with. 

Even the biggest Marchand lovers have to admit that he’s a rat that loves getting under the skin of his opposition. But sometimes though… sometimes that can come back to bite Marchand in the ass. In that vein, let’s take a look at five times that Marchand got absolutely DESTROYED.

Hmmm… funny that we didn’t see failed shootout attempts from earlier this season. To be honest, that probably destroyed him and the Bruins more than any of these hits. 

With the game on the line, in a “score or go-home” scenario, Marchand came flying through the neutral zone, picked up the puck and… WHOOOOOOOOPS!

Have you EVER seen such a bizarre ending to a game? Did Marchand even touch the puck? What happens? Well… evidently he did and nudged it forward just enough to have the play count as an official shootout attempt. And because Flyers forward Travis Konecny scored on the attempt just prior, Marchand effectively cost his team a win. Ouch.
