This evening at & PM, The Philadelphia Flyers are hosting the Montreal Canadiens. It will be the first game between the two storied rivals this season.

In their last game earlier this week, the Flyers earned a convincing 4-1 victory at home against the Carolina Hurricanes. They will look to defend home-ice once again tonight against Montreal.

Flyers head coach, Alain Vigneault made some minor tweaks to his lineup ahead of this evening's big matchup.

First of all, veteran Michael Raffl will  play on the 4th offensive line in an effort to bring talent, experience and offensive production to the bottom 3. Winger Carsen Twarynski will play alongside Kevin Hayes and Jakub Voracek as he replaces Raffl on the third line.

Centerman German Rubtsov was taken out of the lineup after the game against Carolina and was sent down to the Flyers' AHL affiliate. Mikhail Vorobyev is the one to make the opposite trip as he steps in for Rubtsov on the 4th line. He will pivot a line composed of he, Miochael Raffl and Tyler Pitlick.

Carter Hart is set to start in front of the Flyers' net again tonight after earning the victory on Tuesday. Brian Elliott will suit up as his backup.

Here is the Flyers' projected lineup for tonight's grudge-match against the Habs according to NHL.com Deputy Managing Editor Adam Kimelman:

Forwards:

James Van Riemsdyk - Claude Giroux - Joel Farabee

Oskar Lindblom - Sean Couturier - Travis Konecny

Carsen Twarynski - Kevin Hayes - Jakub Voracek

Michael Raffl - Mikhail Vorobyev - Tyler Pitlick

Defensemen:

Ivan Provorov - Matt Niskanen

Shayne Gostisbehere - Justin Braun

Travis Sanheim - Philippe Myers

Goaltenders:

Carter Hart

Brian Elliott

Forwards Chris Stewart and defenseman Robert Hagg are set to be healthy scratches this evening. Nolan Patrick is still out with migraine disorder, while Scott Laughton is healing his broken finger.

Look for the Montreal Canadiens to play hard tonight. They came off a hard earned victory against the Bruins on Tuesday. Both Montreal and Philly have great offensive depth. It should be a great hockey game to watch.
