Former Boston Bruins goaltender Niklas Svedberg has been banned two games in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL)  for abuse of an official. The ruling comes from Svedberg’s careless actions in a game earlier this week when he was chasing down an opponent and and ended up throwing blind punches and clipping one of the on-ice officials.

Come on, bro. Not cool. You HAVE to be in better control of your body.

Svedberg, 30 years old, last played in the NHL during the 2014-15 season and has bounced around the KHL, AHL and SHL ever since. This season he has an impressive 2.29 goals against average and .917 save percentage in 34 games with Djurgardens IF.
