Forsberg vs Virtanen in a rare fight for both men.

It's one thing to see a fight roughly one minute into the game, it's another when that fight takes place between two skilled forwards who are better known for their ability to shoot the puck rather than throwing fists.

Fans in Vancouver got an early treat in more ways than one tonight, first they were treated to the aforementioned fight right out of the gate, and second they got to see rookie forward Jake Virtanen show off his ability to defend himself.

Virtanen was challenged to the fight by Nashville Predator's forward Filip Forsberg after Virtanen delivered a big hit along the boards, and unfortunately for Forsberg Virtanen was more than willing to accept that challenge.

The result was a one sided beatdown were there can be no doubt, Virtanen got the better of Forsberg.
