Frustrated Sheldon Keefe throws Maple Leafs players under the bus!
After another loss to the Sabres, he has no mercy…

The only thing good Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe had to say about last night’s game was that it was the last time his team had to face the Buffalo Sabres this season.
Because clearly, he feels like his players can’t handle them. The Sabres downed the lethargic Leafs 5-2 to take the season series 3-1-0 against Toronto, who as you know, contrary to Buffalo, are playoff bound.
But it didn’t look like it yesterday…
After the game, reporters met with a very frustrated Keefe, who didn’t hold back to throw his players under the bus, not
only after this performance, but also for every time they faced the Sabres this season.
“It wasn’t good. We’ve been no-shows in all four (games).”
“You wish that you didn’t have nights like this,” Keefe added. “Reality is lots of teams have nights like this, which is why not a lot of teams have 100 points like we do.
Keefe ended his presser with some encouraging words… well, better ones let’s say.
“We’ll push past this,” Keefe said. “We don’t have to play Buffalo anymore this year.”
