Strong words from the young Flyer.

Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere had a bit of a sophomore slump in his second season if only by the standards he set in his breakout season as a rookie, but it sounds like he's ready to remedy that.
In a recent interview with NHL.com's Adam Kimelman, Gostisbehere revealed that he has been working hard during the summer to come back stronger than ever, and there's no doubt that his comments will have Flyers' fans setting a very high bar.
"Now I feel really explosive, I feel really strong," Gostisbehere said as per NHL.com. "It's going to be an exciting season."
Gostisbehere admitted that he felt there were some mental issues for him in his second season after he underwent a fairly significant surgery, although now that's all behind him.
"I'm coming in with a great summer under my belt and I'm going to keep that going into the season," he said.
Flyers fans should be excited as Gostisbehere has demonstrated he has what it takes to be one of the most dynamic defensemen in the NHL at just 24 years of age.
