Hab fans freak out after they think they see Carey Price wearing hat of a rival team.

Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price caused a bit of a freak out among a segment of internet-savvy Hab fans.

Price published a picture on Instagram of himself, and while it appeared to be an innocent picture of him taking a swim, the hat he was wearing in the photo caused an absolute panic.

Price was wearing a hat with a maple leaf design on it, and needless to say the mere act of wearing a hat belonging to a rival team would be an act of blasphemy in Montreal, except that wasn't the case here. 

While Price was wearing a hat with a maple leaf design, it was not a Toronto Maple Leafs hat, and may in fact have been an old Habs design. It's unclear exactly what the hat represents as it's hard to tell in the photo, but what is certain is some fans lost their minds over nothing at all.
