The Blackhawks are in a comfortable seat these days. Their playoff spot is locked and they seem to win every game or so. With only a few games remaining, roster management is a key part of the GM/Coach job.
Today, the Hawks recalled Vince Hinostroza from the minors.
The small forward played 48 games in the big team thus far this season, before being sent to the Rockford IceHogs. The reason for his recall has not been given and no new injury is announced either. Most probably, Hinostroza will get some quality ice time to let the team regular players take a breather and be fresh for the playoffs.
