HUGE controversy in Columbus tonight!

That's nasty!

As mentioned before, the game between the Penguins and the Blue Jackets is a true all out war tonight. Both teams look to improve their record and get ahead in the series.

After the quickest goal in the history of the Playoffs by the Jackets, the first period spiraled into an offensive fest and the Penguins were down 3-1 at some point. However, they mounted a comeback that culminated in a pretty slick goal when Bryan Rust deflected a perfect shoot-pass by Dumoulin.

However, a huge controversy developed for what happened just before the goal. Zach Werenski received a deflected puck to the face and laid on the ice for a good 15 seconds. The referees never whistled and he had to skate back to the bench, his face all bloodied.

The goal was allowed anyhow and the Pens are back in the game. Needless to say, the Jackets' fans have been booing since then!
