Huge update on Erik Karlsson from the Senators head coach.

The Ottawa Senators have provided some very good news regarding the status of their star defenseman.

Veteran Erik Karlsson was injured in the second period of Game 4 and did not come out for the third period of that game, and while it was believed to be a precautionary measure, there was some concern he could miss more time.

Now we have an update from head coach Guy Boucher himself, who informed TSN's Ian Mendes that Karlsson was ready to go, and furthermore that he was expected to take on his full workload.

Obviously this is a very good sign for the Senators who would likely to regain the lead in this series.
