The Calgary Flames placed forward Jaromir Jagr on the injured reserve, the team announced on Sunday. Jagr suffered a lower-body injury during Calgary's game on Saturday. He left for the locker room in the first period, and he didn't come back.
The 44-year old Czech signed a one-year deal with the Flames earlier in October. He has two points in five games so far this season. The future Hall-of-Famer has 1916 points in 1716 games played. He tied Gordie Howe at the second rank all-time for games played in the NHL (season and playoffs included) on Saturday, even if he didn't finish the game.
