Journeyman forward cuts ties with the Maple Leafs.

He didn't want to wait until July 1st to become an unrestricted free agent.

According to multiple reports journeyman forward Marko Arcobello is moving on from the Toronto Maple Leafs, and in fact is moving on from the National Hockey League altogether and has signed a two-year deal with SC Bern of the Swiss League.

Arcobello played in 69 games for the Leafs organization last season, 20 in the NHL and 49 for the American Hockey League's Toronto Marlies. In his 20 NHL games he recorded just four points, but to his credit has an even plus minus rating on a bad Maple Leafs team. Meanwhile he demonstrated his scoring touch in the AHL with 59 points in his 49 games with the Marlies.
