Kyle Connor: Strong start with the Moose!

Yesterday, we mentionned it was maybe time for young Kyle Connor to get a taste of the AHL. A first round selection in 2015, Connor was selected to be an offensive dynamo for the Jets but he was struggling to find his place of the top lines. Used from time to time on the top6, he seemed a little bit lost, as if the pace of the game was a little too fast, the opponents a little bit too big.

Kyle Connor was sent down to the Manitoba Moose earlier friday morning in order to make him play against the Cleveland Monsters the very same night. The former NCAA scoring leader took little time to make a new friend in Manitoba as he setted up Jack Roslovic's eight goal of the season! Look how easily Connor skated around 2 defensemen before saucing the puck in the open space.

The Moose finally lost that game by a 4-1 count, but Connor made sure everybody on the Jets organization knew he was for real. It's only a matter of time to see this kid back up in Winnipeg, for good.
