Ladd happy to be back in Chicago

Getting traded isn't always easy. Especially when you know it is coming but you just dont know to which team you will be traded. However, Andrew Ladd was lucky enough to be traded to the team he was with before he was with the Jets.

Ladd played 2 1/2 seasons with the Blackhawks and capped it all off with his second Stanley Cup in 2010. The Blackhawks were unable to resign him due to salary cap restrictions and he went to Atlanta/Winnipeg. Now he is back and a lot of the faces he won the Cup with in 2010 are still there and he is very excited to be able to have a chance at winning another Cup with the same guys he did back in 2010.

Marcus Kruger was even nice enough to give Ladd the #16 that he has worn for pretty much all of his career. Captain Jonathan Toews poked a little fun at him asking if he wanted the captaincy as well. Ladd was quick to respond that they will have to talk about that.

Welcome back Andrew! We are glad to have you back and hopefully we will see you win your 3rd Stanley Cup this season!

Here is the video from Blackhawks TV where Ladd reconnects with everyone:
