The Leafs used some pressure tactics to get forward Peter Holland's deal done before arbitration but no such action was required in this case.

The team announced that they had agreed to terms on a new deal with forward Frank Corrado who was acquired last season off of waivers. Corrado, a former Vancouver Canucks fifth round draft pick, will earn himself a payday of $600,000 this season on a one-way one-year contract.

While at 23 years old Corrado certainly fits with the Leafs youth movement, he also registered a mere 6 points, 1 goal and 5 assists, last season in 39 games as a Maple Leaf, it's unclear where he projects long term in the Leafs organization.
