Leaves after bad injury, returns to be the hero!

Matt Calvert had himself one hell of a night!.

Early in the game he took a puck to the face which required 36 stitches to close. He then returned to the game as any typical NHLer would and ended up scoring the winning goal. The goal was scored shorthanded on top of it.

It was one of those great moments in sports. Hard working gamer suffers an injury that would keep most people on the shelf for a long time but then comes back to help his team win. Hollywood could not have written it better themselves.

You definitely have to tip your hat to Calvert. There was no way he was going to let a little thing like 36 stitches keep him from returning to the game.
