By lifting his Pittsburgh Penguins 5-4 over the New York Rangers in overtime last night, Pens forward Evgeni Malkin further cemented himself in the team’s pantheon of legends. Malkin’s OT winner ties him with Hall-of-Famer and team owner Mario Lemieux as the franchise’s all-time leader in overtime goals.

As for Malkin, the 31-year-old center now has 330 goals and 840 points in 713 games as a Penguin. He has a ways to go to catch Lemieux however, who boasts an incredible 690 goals and 1723 points in 915 career games.
