It's pretty clear how he feels.

Current Chicago Blackhawks forward Max Domi is about to face his former Columbus Blue Jackets teammates for the first time since his departure at last season's trade deadline to the Carolina Hurricanes. After a strong postseason with the Canes, he made the call to take his talents to the Windy City this summer.

But he's made his feelings about his former city clear ahead of tonight's game during his post-practice comments with reporters, declaring his view that he's finally in a "good" city. Take a look for yourself:

"I'm pretty excited, actually," Domi said about facing the Blue Jackets. "My whole family's here. I was in Columbus for two years, so I didn't get many visitors. All of a sudden I'm in a nice city, so my whole family wants to come. I don't know if it's me or the city."

Columbus certainly isn't the size of Chicago, but to pretend that it isn't a nice midwestern city would just be silly. Of course, the Jackets have already seen two major free agents in the form of Artemi Panarin and Sergei Bobrovsky depart Columbus because they felt it wasn't big or flashy enough - but that was their choice and right to decide.
