McKenzie rushed to hospital after having his eyeball cut open!

This sounds like one of the more brutal injuries of this National Hockey League season.

On Thursday night Boston Bruin Kevin Miller delivered what appeared to be an unintentional high-stick to the face of Dallas Star Curtis McKenzie. While the blow did not appear to be malicious, there is now no doubt that the damage done was very serious.

When McKenzie left the ice he was followed by a trail of his own blood, blood that was pouring down his face and through his hand which he was covering his face with. As it turns out we now know that the cut was at least in part directly to McKenzie's eye, making the amount of blood pouring from his face even more disturbing.
