Harsh comments from the NBC analyst.

The NBC broadcast has been making controversial headlines during the National Hockey League's Stanley Cup Playoffs, but it's usually former NHL player Mike Milbury drawing all the controversy.

On Wednesday night just prior to Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final, NBC broadcaster Keith Jones appeared to take a shot at the Pittsburgh Penguins defense by stating that there were no match for that of the Nashville Predators.

"Trevor Daley would be the 5th best defenseman for Nashville, he's the best for Pittsburgh right now," said Jones as per Seth Nile who transcribed the comments.

While even the most die hard Penguins fan would likely concede that the Predators do in fact have more talent on the blue line, especially considering the absence of Kris Letang, that doesn't mean this comment will sit well with anyone in Pittsburgh, and it certainly won't sit well with Trevor Daley.
