Not messing around!

The National Hockey League has worked to root out predatory high hits that have caused countless injuries over the years, and New York Islanders forward Ross Johnston is the latest player to be disciplined by being forced to sit for several games.

The NHL Department of Player Safety has announced that Johnston has been suspended for three games for his high hit on New Jersey Devils forward A.J. Greer during the 1st period of Thursday night's game:

Johnston hasn't provided much in the way of offense for the Islanders, registering only two assists so far this season.
