It was just yesterday that we reported on the rumors surrounding three names in particular on the Detroit Red Wings roster, and now just one day later Detroit Red Wings general manager Ken Holland has added a great deal of credibility to those rumors.

Speaking with Detroit Red Wings insider Ansar Khan Holland openly admitted that it was indeed likely that he would be forced to pull off some kind of trade in order to sort out his current salary cap situation.

"If everybody is healthy when we get to opening day, we'll probably have to make a move," Holland said as per Khan's report. "I'm anticipating we'll be over by a little bit."

The three names we have been hearing consistently are that of goaltender Petr Mrazek as well as those of forwards Riley Sheahan and Gustav Nyquist. Holland unsurprisingly did not provide any details regarding what form that trade may take, but it sounds like you can expect the Red Wings to make a trade before the regular season gets underway.
