NHL team refuses to let senior citizens into the arena!?

The Montreal Canadiens as an organization have long been synonymous with class and respect - an argument can be made against the fans, especially after several previous incidents involving them.

But as an organization? First class. Until Saturday night, it would seem.

How on Earth can the team defend itself after this blatant act of greed, laziness, and injustice? A pair of Habs fans, likely lifelong at that, dished out hundreds of dollars for overpriced tickets to see the Canadiens play and were refused entry because they weren't in wheelchairs?

Geoff Molson doesn't seem to care much for fan experience as long as people are helping him sell the arena out night after night. It seems downright ridiculous that two senior fans could shell out that kind of money and commit the time to travel to Montreal and be denied entry.

They ended up on the street outside the arena.
