The Buffalo Sabres announced today that they sent down 3 forwards to their AHL team, the Rochester Americans.

Cal O'Reilly was on fire with Manchester before getting called up with 3 goals and 15 assists in 15 games. He played 4 games for the Sabres leaving all the cases on the scoresheet blank. O'Reilly, a 30 years-old centerman is a point-per-game producer at the AHL and KHL level but seems to lack the speed to perform in the NHL.

Same problem for Cole Schneider as the 6"1 winger notched only in assist during his 4 games stay in Buffalo.

William Carrier, a 2nd round draft pick in 2013 scored his first NHL goal against the the Pittsburgh Penguins a week ago. Carrier averaged less than 10 minutes during his 11 games with Buffalo and could use more ice time, even if it's in the minors.
